WVRC, in southeastern Wisconsin, is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible anesthesiologist to join our team. WVRC is recognized as one of the largest, most diverse private veterinary emergency and specialty hospitals in the state of Wisconsin, offering Neurology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Cardiology, Oncology, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Diagnostic Imaging and 24 hour Emergency services. WVRC is fully equipped in all departments, including onsite CT and MRI capabilities. Additionally, Marshfield Laboratories provides a reference veterinary lab, including an onsite clinical pathologist, within the Waukesha location, providing rapid, high quality, diagnostic capabilities.

WVRC currently consists of 3 hospitals; the main hospital is located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee, and the satellite hospitals are in Grafton and Racine. All areas provide easy access to the attractions of the city Milwaukee, including the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball games, Milwaukee Bucks Basketball games, theater and concert performances, fine dining and upscale shopping. Madison, Wisconsin is a short drive away, and Chicago, Illinois is easily accessible by car or train for a weekend getaway. Our surrounding suburbs also provide multiple options for top rated schools as well as various leisure opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast.

WVRC has been a pioneer in offering anesthesiology and pain management services in private practice and is interested in hiring a highly motivated anesthesiologist to continue that role. Our anesthesiologist works closely with all the veterinarians and technicians across each department to provide the utmost patient care, staff education and client service. Roles include participation in morning rounds, consultations on cases, outreach for referring veterinary hospitals, and internal education for DVMs, interns and staff. The right candidate will have a passion for teaching, excellent communication and collaborative skills, and a strong ability to work within a team.
