We are currently looking for a Board-Certified or Board-eligible Veterinary Anesthesiologist to provide exceptional care for our beloved animal patients.
Position Summary
As a Board-Certified or Board-eligible Veterinary Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring all patients coming in for anesthetized procedures. We see an average of 6-8 surgeries per day, and the practice is poised for growth. Our office is open Monday-Friday and our procedures are outpatient. We would anticipate having an anesthesiologist in office Monday-Thursday. We are looking for a compassionate, highly skilled professional who is dedicated to promoting the well-being of our animal patients and elevating our patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Review of medical records for incoming patients and preparing appropriate anesthesia and perioperative pain protocols.
- Direction to technical staff monitoring anesthetized patients and hands on monitoring for patients with higher ASA status.
- Collaborate with our team of veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Protocol refinement and training of staff.
- Stay current with the latest developments in veterinary anesthesia and pain management through continuous learning and professional development.

What we are looking for
A Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Veterinary Anesthesiologist who is passionate to grow their career in an environment that promotes the highest level of patient care. Applicants must have or obtain a license to practice in the state of Maryland. They must possess strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures to clients, team members and residents. You must have the ability to work effectively and patiently in a collaborative team environment.
