Veterinary Anesthesia Technician Opportunities

Small or Large Animal | Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital

Veterinary Anesthesia Technicians are valued clinical partners, working alongside board‑certified anesthesiologists, residents, interns, and veterinary students to deliver safe, high‑quality anesthesia care across a broad range of clinical specialties within either the Small Animal Hospital or the Large Animal Hospital. Technicians support complex, high‑acuity cases and contribute directly to the education and training of future veterinarians.

This role offers meaningful, hands-on involvement throughout the anesthesia process in one of the nation’s leading veterinary teaching hospitals.

Role Highlights

  • Support comprehensive peri‑anesthetic patient care for small or large animal cases
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, residents, interns, and veterinary students to deliver safe, high‑quality anesthesia care
  • Monitor anesthetized patients using advanced multi‑parameter monitoring equipment
  • Assist with hands‑on clinical teaching of veterinary students in a teaching hospital setting
  • Benefit from strong institutional support for professional growth, continuing education, and career development

If you’re passionate about veterinary anesthesia and want your work to have an impact beyond the individual case—supporting both exceptional patient care and the future of veterinary medicine—we invite you to explore veterinary technician opportunities at Texas A&M.
