Oregon State University Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our anesthesia and analgesia team. This exciting position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and busy anesthesia service in an academic environment. The anesthesia and analgesia team provides services to both the large and small animal areas of the hospital.
The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, a motivated self-starter, dedicated to the profession, have a positive attitude, and feel comfortable around large animals. This position requires strong technical and mathematical skills, a willingness to learn, ability to multitask, strong communication skills, and play a significant role in instructing veterinary students. We are seeking certified veterinary technicians who enjoy a challenge and are looking for an opportunity to specialize in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia as a long-term career choice. Those interested in pursuing a Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in anesthesia and analgesia will be fully supported and will be working directly with two board-certified anesthesiologists and two VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia) credentialed technicians.
