The University of Florida is looking for a board-certified or board-eligible veterinary anesthesiologist to provide locum coverage for our service in the period of August 30th to December 31st. We are looking for a total of 10 weeks of coverage, and although longer periods or coverage are preferred, we will also consider shorter locum periods of 1-2 weeks.
You will work alongside 5 board certified anesthesiologists, 5 anesthesia residents and 10 well-trained anesthesia technicians, as you provide service primarily for the small animal hospital. Weekend on call support may also be required, serving as a back up to our residents and technicians for both the small and large animal hospital.
The successful candidate will also be required to participate in anesthesia residents training, and provide educational opportunity to interns, residents and senior veterinary students rotating through our service as well as to our technical staff.
