Oregon State University, Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time, Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, Clinical or Tenure Track, with an earliest start date of January 31st, 2022.
Successful candidates will join our Anesthesiology section, which provides clinic service to clients and clinical training to veterinary students and house officers. The case load is mixed between small and large animal species. Candidates will interface with the other clinical services. Teaching is also integral to this position, and scholarly and service work is required.
Required: DVM or comparable degree and completion of an ACVAA- or ECVAA-certified residency by the start of employment. Must possess clinical experience in veterinary anesthesiology, have excellent patient care and communication skills, and a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity. Preference may be given to those with ACVAA or ECVAA certification, experience in research and teaching.
