Canada West Veterinary Specialists is the largest privately owned veterinary specialty hospital in Western Canada. Spanning 26,000 sq ft, we offer services in the following disciplines: surgery, neurology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, oncology, rehabilitation therapy, critical care, and emergency services. We are a Level II Trauma Centre with all the advanced diagnostic tools and support to manage a challenging caseload including an in-house cytology and reference laboratory.

Preference will be given to candidates who are ACVAA or ECVAA Board-Certified, however, individuals having completed a veterinary anesthesia residency program will also be considered. British Columbia allows European Board-Certified to work under a “Specialty Private Practice” license without ECFVG certification/equivalency requirement.
