Locum Anesthesiologist – Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital, Woburn MA
The Anesthesia Department at the MVRH is looking for a boarded or residency-trained anesthesiologist to provide locum service for Aug 10-Nov 10.
Responsibilities include:
Oversight of the anesthesia service (small animal only, no exotics)
Instruction of technicians and house officers assigned to the anesthesia service
No overnight or weekend responsibilities
The anesthesia service is a high-volume, exciting department that provides service to the surgery, ophthalmology, interventional cardiology, oncology, critical care and neurosurgery teams. It is equipped with a dedicated point-of-care ultrasound (PiloterVet) for ultrasound guided blocks, MILA Stimpod for nerve stimulator techniques and train-of-four monitoring, a WATO EX-35 anesthesia workstation, Hallowell mechanical ventilators and Mindray ePM 12M multiparameter monitors with gas analysis.
