Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency and Referral is ready to welcome an anesthesiologist to join our Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. BVER opened its doors in August of 2022, and we have grown rapidly. The hospital is a 17,000 sq. ft facility with plans to expand in size and in our offered specialty services. We provide referral and emergency services to much of Oregon. Our current specialties include 2 Surgeons, 2 Internists, 2 neurologists, 7 day a week imaging services, 2 Criticalists and a full team of ER doctors! There is no general practice associated with the hospital, but we do have a 7 day a week Urgent Care Department with 2 doctors.
We are seeking an anesthesiologist to help lead our enthusiastic and well-trained team of anesthesia and surgery technicians. The successful candidate will be able to facilitate case flow while providing expertise and support to the veterinary staff and the patients. In addition to attending to a bustling caseload, enthusiasm for teaching technical staff and doctors is a must.
We have daily case rounds each morning to provide an opportunity for continuous learning. We have in-house education for doctors and technicians. The support staff is highly trained and enthusiastic about continuing education as well. This position offers clinicians a unique opportunity to work in a rapidly growing, well-equipped, state-of-the-art facility, side-by-side with a skilled group of specialists and ER colleagues.
