Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) located in Portland, Maine is growing, and we are looking to expand our anesthesia service. With a full array of critical care and anesthesia monitoring modalities we have everything you need to practice the highest level of care. Hospital equipment includes telemetry, high-flow oxygen, color-flow ultrasound (3), video endoscopy, otoscopy, cystoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy, digital radiography, a full on-site laboratory, cold laser (2), PulseVet shockwave, PRP & stem cell therapy, a CT scanner, and MRI. You will join an amazing team of collaborative specialists in internal medicine (4), surgery (5), critical care (2), oncology, ophthalmology, cardiology, neurology, anesthesiology, and radioactive iodine therapy.
Our hospital has grown exponentially over the past twenty years, and we will be moving into a brand new, state-of-the-art 42,000 sq ft hospital in early 2025. We would love to show you the plans! Our goal has always been to practice the highest level of care while being laser focused on our clients, patients, and community. Our new hospital will support us as we continue to grow and serve the Portland community.
