About Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital:
Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital (WRAH) is looking for a full-time board-certified or residency trained Anesthesiologist to join our well established, rapidly growing, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital.
This position represents the second Anesthesiologist for the hospital and will help to expand the Anesthesia service to seven days a week. Under direction from our Medical Director and in collaboration with the other Anesthesiologist, there is abundant opportunity to create a flexible schedule which will allow for almost limitless professional growth. Responsibilities include mentoring support staff and intern doctors, providing counsel to the other specialists, and collaborating with the referring veterinarian community.
Our 37,500 square foot state of the art hospital is nestled in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, near the Denver metro area. Our Team:
Our busy primary care DVM group refer and co-manage cases with each of the specialty departments. We also have a full-time onsite counselor who provides support for clients, technical staff, and doctors alike. Our specialty offerings include Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Ophthalmology, Neurology, and Surgery.
Diagnostic Capabilities:
We offer a wide array of diagnostics, including a 1.5T MRI, 64 slice CT, fluoroscopy, and an onsite reference laboratory which includes a cytologist.
