Residency Position in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia Start date: July 15th, 2021
This is a standard ACVAA approved 3-year clinical residency with combined Masters of Science based on course-work and a research project. Candidates must have a DVM or equivalent degree, and must have completed a one year internship or have had general practice experience acceptable to the faculty in Anesthesiology.
Our clinic has recently been renovated with new equipment. We have a 24/7 ICU staffed with technicians. We also provide anesthesia services to the exotic pets and large animal sections and are involved with the local zoo immobilization work.
Residents will be enrolled in the College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, University of Saskatchewan, and as such must meet their requirements for entry and are responsible for the associated tuition fees. See website: http://www.usask.ca/cgsr/ for more details.
