The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, Western College of Veterinary Medicine offers a permanent, full-time, Veterinary Anesthesiologist clinical appointment commencing when an acceptable candidate is available. Candidates must have a DVM degree (or equivalent) and must be eligible for licensure within the province of Saskatchewan. Candidates must have completed an approved veterinary anesthesia residency and be eligible to take the ECVAA or ACVAA Board examination or have gained either certification. Candidates without this certification will be considered but, they must have at least two years general practice experience or a rotating internship and are willing to be trained to provide quality anesthesia and postoperative care in both small and large animals.
The qualified candidate will be hired at the Phase 2 (salary range $62,850 to $98,205 per annum) or Phase 3 level (salary range $79,448 to $132,331 per annum) based upon their current qualifications.
