Eclipse Specialty & Emergency Pet Care is a state-of-the-art, 24/7 emergency and specialty
veterinary hospital located in Whippany, NJ. Founded by three Board-Certified Specialists and a
Licensed Veterinary Technician, we are dedicated to providing advanced medical care to our
patients while maintaining a supportive and growth-focused environment for our team. We offer a
full range of specialty services including Cardiology, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Oncology,
Surgery, Neurology, Anesthesiology and Critical Care, all within a six-acre facility designed with
the comfort and safety of patients, clients, and staff in mind.
About the Role
As a full time veterinary anesthesiologist at Eclipse Specialty & Emergency Pet Care, you will be a
crucial part of our compassionate and skilled team. You will join our current part time
anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia services. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Review medical records and make recommendations on perioperative and postoperative
care for surgical patients. - Indirect monitoring of routine cases, providing support to the technical staff.
- Direct monitoring of patients with more severe comorbidities.
- Training of staff and improvement of protocols.
- Occasional free CE lectures for local DVMs and staff.
- Be a resource for other clinics in the area as possible.
- Providing exceptional care to patients and supporting their families during times of need.
- Working collaboratively with other departments to maintain the highest standards of
patient care.

Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Eligible for a license to practice in New Jersey
- Board certification or board eligible in veterinary anesthesia
- Compassionate and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
